Coffee’IT’ quality standards are granted by a certification issued by the Quality Management System, according to the ISO rule 22000:2005. The Quality Management System ISO 22000 is a standard of the International Standardization Body ISO, created with the purpose of balancing the national and international standards concerning food safety and HACCP.
This certification guarantees the agri-food safety on the whole production chain.
The ISO 22000 certification is an important requisite that shows the Company’s commitment towards the food safety, in full respect of the requirements claimed by Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Balance.
HACCP (Hazard-Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a set of procedures aimed at preventing any possible food contamination and granting the end consumer a high hygiene and food safety level. It’s based on monitoring those food processing places where a danger of biological, chemical or physical contamination is expected. Its aim is locating and analysing dangers and developing the right system to keep them under control.
